MY WHY MISSION & GOALS FOUNDED IN 2016 501 C 3

Our mission is to equip underserved children with the knowledge and the training to properly feed themselves for a lifetime. “Don’t give them a fish, teach them to fish”.

Our goals are to:
  1. Reduce food insecurity by providing access to nutritious foods through donations and local farmer’s market.
  2. Educate children about the benefits of proper nutrition.
  3. Provide academic tutoring and athletic coaching to teach teamwork and to engender pride and self-worth.
  4. Provide hands-on experience in traditional farming, raised bed farming & hydroponics.
  5. Provide experience in growing, harvesting and marketing produce in their neighborhood.
